Nuneaton Library

Nuneaton Library holds a major collection of over 2000 paper-based items about George Eliot including letters, photographs, newspaper cuttings, illustrations, her stories and books about her life and work. The collection aims to give a deeper insight into Eliot and includes information on the places and people she knew, and how Nuneaton has remembered her since her death in 1880.

The collection’s popular items can be borrowed by library members, though an appointment is needed for other items.
