Charles Christian Hennell

Charles Hennell was the brother of Sara and Caroline Hennell (Cara Bray). They become friends with George Eliot when she moved to Coventry with her father. Charles Hennell was the author of An Inquiry into the Origins of Christianity, published in 1838. This publication had a strong influence on George Eliot. Hennell died in 1850 after a long illness.
