Coventry Archives holds a number of books written by members of the Rosehill Circle. Rosehill was the Coventry home of Charles and Cara Bray. Their home became a centre for radical thinking on religion and politics. They became friends with George Eliot when she moved to Coventry. At Rosehill Eliot was introduced to new ideas and ways of thinking.
